About Gabriel Giannelli

I’m Gabe Giannelli, a corporate event photographer and executive portrait photographer based in Baltimore, Maryland. I work throughout Washington, DC, Baltimore, Northern Virginia, and the Mid-Atlantic, and I travel nationwide for conferences, corporate events, executive meetings, and multi-day programs.

Most of my clients are corporations, agencies, associations, government organizations, and hospitality brands. They hire me for events where the photography needs to be handled professionally, without a lot of supervision, and delivered on deadline.

My work includes conference photography, corporate event coverage, executive portraits, leadership headshots, awards ceremonies, galas, receptions, trade shows, conventions, and on-site portrait studios.

Corporate Event and Conference Photography

I photograph conferences and corporate events of all sizes, from local meetings in Washington, DC and Baltimore to large multi-day programs around the country.

Coverage typically includes keynote speakers, panel discussions, networking, receptions, awards, executive meetings, sponsor activations, group photographs, and the candid moments that show what an event actually felt like.

For larger programs, I can build and manage a team of photographers and videographers while remaining the main point of contact for the client or agency.

Recent work includes leading a three-person photography and video team for Cohera at a Burns & McDonnell event at The Cloister at Sea Island, Georgia. The assignment included several days of event coverage as well as 40 VIP portrait sessions with keynote speaker and former President George W. Bush.

Executive Portraits and Corporate Headshots

I also photograph executives, leadership teams, and employees for companies throughout Washington, DC and Baltimore.

Sessions can take place at a corporate office, hotel, conference venue, or another location that fits the organization. For larger groups, I can set up a complete on-site portrait studio and photograph executives or attendees efficiently while keeping the lighting and finished images consistent.

That includes individual executive portraits, leadership teams, company headshot days, conference headshots, and environmental portraits.

My Background

Before becoming a full-time photographer, I spent 20 years in U.S. Navy Public Affairs.

I worked in environments where schedules changed quickly, senior leaders were involved, media were present, and there was very little room for missed moments. I directed communications and creative operations for major events including Fleet Week New York and worked with national media outlets including NBC’s Today.

That background has carried directly into my photography career. I’m comfortable working around executives, public figures, press, security teams, and complicated event schedules without becoming another thing the event team has to manage.

Before moving to Maryland, I also founded First Coast Headshots in St. Augustine, Florida, where I photographed more than 775 professional headshots during the company’s first year.

Recognition

My photography has received First Prize in the International Photography Awards and has been featured by Forbes.

Working With Me

I’m based in Baltimore and regularly work in Washington, DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia, and throughout the Mid-Atlantic. I’m also available for corporate events and conferences nationwide.

For smaller assignments, I handle the photography personally from planning through final delivery. For larger events, I can assemble and lead additional photographers and videographers while giving the client one point of contact throughout the project.
